"Hamara Prayaas" is the challenging project undertaken by RKKGPS under the able guidance of Yuvrani Sahiba to spread awareness on menstrual hygiene by manufacturing and distributing Sanitary Napkins for free to under-privileged girls. The main objective of "Hamara Prayaas" project is to beat the stigma attached to the word "Menstruation" and create an awareness of personal hygiene amongst the girls.
On
17th September 2022, upholding the same motto, the girls of RKKGPS went to Rajmahal Girls' Govt. Sen. Sec. School and educated them about the cleanliness during the menstruation. A "Nukkad Natak” was enacted by RKK's students which was enjoyed by the students of Raj Mahal Girls' Govt. Sen. Sec. School. Post that more than 300 Sanitary Napkins were distributed in the School. Further the students also took an initiative to interact with the girls and really enjoyed their company.
The students and faculty of Rajmahal School expressed their gratitude for the contribution and service under taken by school and Principal ma’am for providing with the opportunity of serving the community.
